Kings Beach Parents' Co-op - A Preschool Alternative

The Kings Beach Parents’ Co-op is a non-profit, parent run cooperative in compliance with Community Care Licensing Regulations for Nevada and California and exempt from licensure. Parents share the responsibility of caring for and educating their preschool and kindergarten children, ages 2-5 years, driven by the sheer desire to share in their education. We currently service families in Incline Village, Crystal Bay and Kings Beach. We offer morning and afternoon programs. Go to Daily Schedule for details.

Our mission is to collectively care for and educate our children in a home-like environment that supports each child’s learning abilities and to educate parents in child development.

Our Philosophy For Our Children
We believe we can enrich the natural learning abilities of children through the security and comfort of being cared for and educated, in small numbers, by a professional educator and community parents in a sensory-rich environment with essential learning experiences.

We believe a combination of child development education and hands on teaching experiences in the classroom will allow parents to acquire tools needed to develop best practices with children and refine parenting skills.We welcome interested parents to observe our program, by appointment.
